It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Thompson of Chatom, Alabama, born in Fredericktown, Ohio, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Wilene Gatton Thompson; his children, Bobby Thompson (Susan) and Crystal Thompson; and his siblings, Jeffery Mapes, Daniel Mapes (Margaret) and Debbie Melching. He is also survived by Three Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in Death by: Parents ~ Robert Mapes and Elizabeth (Rice) Thompson, Brother ~ John Mapes, In lieu of flowers donation to the Washington Baptist Association Food Fund is requested.
