With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Isiah Tarver of Chatom, Alabama, born in Millry, Alabama, who passed away on June 24, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Franklin Tarver and Pearly L. Carney Tarver; his daughter Sabrina Cartwright; his granddaughter Mechelle Dungan; and his siblings, Edward Tarver, Franklin Tarver, Ben Tarver, Geneva Buckley, Elvira Sheets and Lavay Denham.
He is survived by: his wife Voncille L. Tarver; his daughters, Paula Taylor, Lisa Miller, Carla Jordan (George), Karen Beech, Tanya Howard (Danny) and Teena Turner; and his siblings, Mildred Strickland, Mary Allday, Dan Tarver, BoBo Tarver and Robert Tarver. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great, great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
