He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Hiller Dickerson and Onnie Davis Dickerson, Sr.; his wife Merry Lollar Dickerson; his stepfather James Arthur Dudley; and his siblings, Hazel Louise Stewart and Onnie Davis Dickerson, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Shane Dickerson and Leah Dickerson Smith; his grandson Chad (Monica Tiedt); his great grandchildren, Christian and Layla; his grandson Kyle (Kara Tiedt); and his great grandchildren, Krislyn and Kieran. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Chatom United Methodist Church.
