Duma Chafin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duma Chafin (Chatom, Alabama), who passed away on March 31, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Logan Richerson and Florence Richerson; her husband Marion R. Chafin; her children, Glenn Rayford Chafin (Sandra), Marilyn Dees (Roy), Bobbie Jean Dawkins (Randy) and Roland Chafin; her son-in-law Roy Cook; and her great grandchildren, Austin Dees and Autumn Dees.

She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Palmer (Willie Paul) and Clarice Chafin Cook; and her sisters, Virginia Roberson, Melvina Mott and Etta Gilley (James). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 7 great, great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Reynolds Holiness Church Cemetery Fund.
