We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2021, at the age of 89, Donald McCants of Chatom, Alabama, born in Franklin, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donavan Longmire McCants, Sr. and Connie Lillian McCants; and his brother Roy Cree McCants. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Gibson McCants; and his children, Donald Ray McCants (Donna) of Ward, Janice F. Moss (Thomas) of Chatom, Sharon Loper (Gerald) of Chatom and Connie McCants Hogg (J. R.) of Ward. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, one great, great-grandchild and numerous other relatives and friends.
