He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hoffman and Mary Azaline Dykes Hoffman; his wife Evelyn Juanita Hoffman; and his siblings, Susie Mae Durden, Elouise Faulkner, Leon Hoffman, John Henry Hoffman, Fannie Mae Parker, Ethel Gertrude Williamson, Annie Mae Hoffman, James Otis Hoffman, William Henry Hoffman and Mary Catherine Lewis.

He is survived by: his sister D. Joann Fricke; his children, Britt Keene (Shanna), Teresa Ball, Gwen Keene, Wyatt Keene (Barbara) and Jay Keene; and his grandchildren, Heather Keene, Aaron Keene, Sarah Mann, Sean Keene, Blane Mathews, Jessica Mathews, Kerry Keene, Tom Keene and Seth Keene. He is also survived by one great, great-grandchild; and many precious nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
