With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlyon Sue Carpenter of Chatom, Alabama, born in Leakesville, Mississippi, who passed away on June 29, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey "Stud" Parnell and Ellena Dearmon Parnell; her daughter Bonnie Faye Coxwell Moss; and her sister Bonnie Johnston. She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Shelton (Jimmy), Janice Grimes (Terry) and Nikki Andreani; her grandchildren, Heath Coxwell, Clayton Moss (McKenzie), John Curtis Moss, Jacob Grimes, Shelby Grimes, Maegan Dixon (Chase) and Nathan Andreani; her great grandchild Darby Collins Dixon; and her brothers, Darrell "Pete" Parnell and Donald "Tiny" Parnell (Agnes). She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
