He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bruce Turner and Lillie Carpenter Turner; his daughter Marla Belue Warr; and his brothers, Keith Turner, Wayne Turner and Wilson Turner.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Turner; his children, Monica Stanley and Jarrett Turner (Kandise); his grandchildren, John Lamb, Jennifer Lamb Durant (Demetri), Joseph Lamb (Constaleen), Sarah Lord (Jacob), Mason Turner and Madyson Turner; his great grandchildren, Kane Lamb, Luna Lamb and Maggie Grace Lord; and his brothers, Dr. Douglas Turner (Sheila) and Dr. Larry Turner (Susan). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
