He is survived by: his daughter Sherll Mathews (Michael) of Chancellor, AL; his grandchildren, David Mathews, Steven Mathews, Brandi Mathews and Reagan Mathews Smith (Matt); his great grandchildren, Ivie Mathews, Ivan, Austin Wood, Hadley and Emersyn Smith; his great great grandchild Laken Jordan; his sister Ann Hatcher of Tallahassee, FL; the mother of his child Sandra Clemmons; his sisters-in-law, Rena Howell Grantham, Sara Howell and Nellie Howell; and his caregiver Jeffrey Fuller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
