It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba Armstrong Peak of Chancellor, Alabama, born in Geneva, Alabama, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Armstrong and Elsie Price Armstrong; her husband Floyd Peak; her son Johnny Peak; and her sisters, Judy Fredrick and Sue Dillard.
She is survived by: her son Jerry (Barbara); her grandchildren, Amanda (Ashley), Ashley (Brent) and Emily; her great grandchildren, Will, Eleanor, Avery, Maggie and Laney; her grandchildren, Rafael and Dora; and her great grandchildren, Rafael Jr. and Jasmine. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Providence United Methodist Church cemetery fund.
