He was predeceased by: his son Jeffrey Paul Dean; and his brother E. L. Dean, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Dean; his son Ashley Andrews Dean of Vestavia Hills, AL; and his brother William R. Dean (Freida) of Mountain Brook, AL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
