It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Whaley (Chancellor, Alabama), who passed away on January 10, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her child Russell Nichols; her former husband Hubert Whaley; her daughter Cathy Forehand Adams; her parents, Exie Williams and Lillie Brannon Williams; and her sister Edna Card.
She is survived by: her children, Stanley Nichols, Judy Nichols of Chancellor and Shirley Nichols Ward of Marietta; her sister Ethel Thornton of Coffee Springs, AL.; and also, Tim Forehand (Kecia) of Geneva, Greg Forehand (Kate) of Charlotte, NC, Sonya Partridge (Bernie) of Chancellor, Rusty Adams (Leona) of DeFuniak Springs, Steve Sasser (Kim) of Kennesaw and Dennis Sasser (Karen) of Dallas. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren.
