He was predeceased by: his parents, Boss Brown and Cora Brown; and his siblings, Eloise Adkison, Mary Alice Baxter, Bernice Wilson, Catharine Tate, Betty Jean Burgett, Rufus Brown, Cecil Brown and Donald Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Shelia Brown of Chancellor, AL; his children, Linda Keel (Donald), Pamela Spann (Mark), Steve Brown (Toni) and David Brown of Chancellor, AL; and his brother Billy Charles Brown. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
