He is survived by: his wife Carol Nelson Dearman; his children, Retha Elizabeth Herrod (Larry), Kristi Deerman (Paul), Marc Christopher Dearman, Thomas Anthony Dearman (Nikki), Robert "Robby" Hollifield (Angie) and Joseph B. Hollifield (Mechelle); and his sister Evelyn Rainer. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
