With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Marchant Lightsey of Centreville, Alabama, who passed away on September 19, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Kornegay and Lucille Pierson Kornegay; her former husband Willie S. Marchant; and her granddaughter Denise Marchant. She is survived by: her husband Ed Lightsey; her children, George Marchant (Peggy) and Louise Finnen; and her grandchildren, Kelly McPherson (Brad), Joseph Marchant (Valon), Justin Marchant, Kim Watkins (Toby), Karen Sessoms (Michael) and Kassie Nichols (Roger). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
