She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Carter Thompson and Ella Eatmon Thompson; and her siblings, Walter Thompson, Victor Thompson, James Albert Thompson, Betty Ann Langham, Carolyn Bridges and Martha Sue Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby McAfee; her sons, Robert Thompson McAfee (Leslie), John William McAfee (Kay) and Freddy Smith (Angie); her grandchildren, Ellie Grace McAfee, Silas Lawley McAfee, John Farmall McAfee, William Remington McAfee, Bobby Smith (Kelsey) and Alex Smith; and her brother Billy Thompson (Mary Beth).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brent Baptist Church (2446 Main St, Brent, AL 35034). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
