She is survived by: her children, Charlene Averette (Mike) of Marion, AL, Larry Smith (Kaye) of McCalla, AL and Doug Smith (Robbie) of Centreville; her brothers, Bill Smith of Montgomery, AL and Marvin Smith of Pleasant Grove, AL.; her grandchildren, Chris Averette of Dallas, TX, Rachel Lacy (Josh) of Gardendale, AL, Kristi Smith Solaque (Jairo) of McCalla, Charles Smith of Woodstock, AL, Starsky Smith (Mahaley) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Shanna Lowry (Jerome) of Woodstock, Alicia Ingram (Garrett) of Woodstock and Michelle Smith Simmons (Cole) of Greensboro, AL; and her great grandchildren, Nichole Lacy Fines (Chad), Mark Lacy, Michael Lacy, Brandon, Rebecca Solaque, Allen, Brooklyn Smith, Sawyer, Leighton Smith, Jeremiah, Matthew Lowry, Autumn, Kenzie Cook, Larsen and Bree Simmons.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Waycross Bible Methodist Church (16541 Coretta Scott King Hwy., MARION, AL 36756).
