It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilburn Hester (Centre, Alabama), born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on December 23, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Lawrence Hester. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Diane Reynolds Hester of Centre; his children, Larry Hester (Wanda) of Milledgeville, Shane Hester (Melinda) of Cedartown, Debra Smith (Robert) of Rome, Shannon Hester of Breman, Chandra Hester of Rome, Rebecca Collins (Mark Smith) of Piedmont and Tammy Whitmore (Norman) of Piedmont; and his parent Naomi Tolbert Hester. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
