It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tom Wade Hampton of Centre, Alabama, born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hampton and Lee Hampton. He is survived by: his wife Jean Jones Hampton; his children, Regina Mize (Jimmy), Joey Hampton of Centre, Tommy Hampton of Centre and Mark Hampton (Rhonda) of Centre; his grandchildren, Joshua Hampton (Nicole), Jamie Hampton (Meaghan), Aaron Hampton, Autumn Hampton, Kyle Mize, Luke Hampton and Logan Hampton; his great grandchildren, Liam Hampton, Emmie Hampton, Emma Price, Gabe Hampton and Bella Hampton; and his brothers, Norman Hampton, Edd Hampton and L. C. Hampton.
In lieu of flowers, the family will accept memorials to the First Baptist Church of Centre.
