He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Whorton and Maybell Whorton. He is survived by: his children, Chris Whorton (Brenda) of Centre, Penny Whorton Grimes of Centre and Shelley Whorton East of Centre; and his brother Charley Whorton (Carolyn). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
