It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Hester (Centre, Alabama), born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on October 13, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Wilburn Hester; and her parents, Homer Reynolds and Eva Johnson Reynolds. She is survived by: her children, Larry Hester (Wanda) of Milledgeville, Shane Hester (Melinda) of Cedartown, Rebecca Collins (Mark Smith) of Centre, Tammy Whitmore (Norman) of Piedmont, Debra Smith (Robert) of Rome, Shannon Hester of Ga and Chandra Hester of Ga; and her siblings, Ed Reynolds (Wanda) of Piedmont, Wayne Reynolds (Rhonda) of Piedmont, Catherine Pruitt of Centre and Cora Lee Bullock of Piedmont. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
