He was predeceased by: his siblings, Billy Garrett, Hershel Garrett, Holbert Garrett, Harbin Garrett, Edward Garrett, Shirley Garrett Middleton and Dorthy Garrett Deaton; and his parents, Willie Garrett and Exie Wood Garrett.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Garrett; his stepsons, Chad Twilley (Torrie) and Isaac Twilley; his stepgranddaughter Catlin Twilley; and his sister-in-law Mary Garrett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Providence Baptist Church of Highway 411 Cemetery Fund.
