It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Lavinia Ray of Centre, Alabama, born in Rome, Georgia, who passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jud King Willerson and Christine Courtney Willerson; her husband Lester Bobo; her son Reb Bobo; and her siblings, Gene Willerson and Doris Padgett.

She is survived by: her granddaughters, Savanah Bobo of Atlanta, GA and Jasmine Hamilton of Rome, GA. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
