With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Junior McGatha of Centre, Alabama, born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on July 30, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Jimmy Ray McGatha; and his parents, Joe McGatha and Sylvia McGatha. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Harteau (Jeff), Julie Watson (Barry), Robin Ridgeway (Scott) and Jennifer Goswick; and his siblings, Lamar McGatha (Diane) and Betty Ann Gilreath (Steve). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
