He was predeceased by: his wife Jan Whitten; his sister Dianne Jacobs; and his parents, Ralph Whitten and Evelyn Whitten. He is survived by: his children, Whitt Whitten (Kristi) and Whitney Parker (Warren); his brother Lowell Gene Whitten (Katy); and his grandson W. C. Parker.
