He is survived by: his wife Betty McKerley Alkire; his children, Timothy Alkire (Connie) of Ohio, Mark Alkire of Ohio, Scott Hanks (Melissa) of Sand Rock and Tammy Hanks (Tory) of Ft. Payne; and his siblings, Patrick Alkire of Ohio and Sarah Kaiser (Ray) of Ohio. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
