She was predeceased by: her parents, McKinley, Sr. Wright and Mary Frances Wright; her husband Frank Jelks; her children, Fonda Jelks, Gregory Jelks, Ricky Hughes and Charles Jelks; and her siblings, Maviola Wright, Jammie Earline Kennon, Bobbie Francis Henderson, Linda Williams, Donald Wright, Jimmy Wright, Clayton Wright, Fannie Wright and John C. Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Tyrone Jelks (Annette), Vernon Jelks (Cescelie), Patrick Jelks (Beverly), Sandra Moore (Don), Theressa Harris, Margie Austin (Zack) and Derryl Hughes; her siblings, Patricia Driver and McKinley Wright; and her granddaughter Fanesha Green (Everett).
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's United Methodist Church.
