She was predeceased by: her brother Kenneth Squires. She is survived by: her husband Glenn Hillhouse of Centre; her daughters, Patricia Jackson (Ron) of Centre and Lynn Hillhouse (Deb) of Centre; her brother Lamar "Al" Squires; and her grandchildren, James Carter, Randy Carter and Angie Bohannon. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 7great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cherokee County Library.
