She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Mitchell and Rossie Mitchell; her husband Claude Tillman Byrd, Jr.; and her siblings, Thomas Glenn Mitchell, Jr. and Clara Bow Siedel.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Byrd (Jenny) of Villa Rica, GA, Kenneth Byrd (Angel) of Dallas, GA, Claudia Pruett (Donald) and Glenda Tant of Dallas, GA; her sister Fostina Rush of Madison, GA; her grandchildren, Terri Cain (Will), Elizabeth Smith (Daniel), Leslie Chhe (Semaun), Michael Byrd, Angie Tibbitts (Jeff), Jennifer Dobbs, Deidra Howell (Cody) and Lydia Liford (Brian); her great grandchildren, Landon Tibbitts (Shelby), Hutt Tibbitts (Brittany), Nathaniel Dobbs, Taylor Howell, Baylee Howell, Gabriel Liford, Abigail Liford and Jason Liford; and her great great grandchild Lily Tibbitts. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will graciously accept flowers or donations to Lighthouse Baptist Church, 12843 Buchanan Hwy Temple, Ga 30179, in her honor.
