She was predeceased by: her son Arnold Sanford; her husband George "June" Godfrey; and her stepchild Arnie Sanford. She is survived by: her children, Larry Sanford (Beth) of Centre, Shane Sanford (Nikki) of Rainbow City and Janet Lockridge (Jason) of Birmingham; her siblings, Terry Dyer (Brenda) of Jacksonville, Mary Jewell McPherson of Centre and Janice Brown (Willard) of Piedmont; her grandchildren, Rachel, David, Jonathan, A. J., Nicholas and Jacob; and her great grandchildren, Marlee, Samuel, Beau, Sheppard and Joseph.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Centre First United Methodist Church.
