He was predeceased by: his parent Joe Shaw, Jr.; his wife Amber Faye Shaw; his brother Ernie Alan Shaw; and his stepdaughter Kimberly Ann Cantrell. He is survived by: his sister Janice Shaw Reaves; his sister-in-law Kathy D. Shaw; his nieces and nephews, Brian Reaves (Jami), Melanie Thigpen (Josh), Kay Shaw Dean, Joseph Alan Shaw and Christine Dibler (Matthew); and his stepgrandchildren, Christopher Storey (Hayden) and Brittany Montgomery (Matt). He is also survived by several grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and step-great-grandchildren.
