He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Denise Bell Alexander; his children, Austin Alexander of North Carolina and Heather Alexander of North Carolina; his siblings, Jeremy Alexander of North Carolina, Jacob Alexander of Centre and Nikki; and his parents, George Steve Alexander and Denise Naomi Honeycutt Lies.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to America Cancer Society.
