He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carl Whorton and Una Lewis Whorton. He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Lynn Cline of Cedar Bluff, AL; and his siblings, Elbert Andrew Whorton of Florence, AL and Lounell Holcombe of Centre. He is also survived by three grandchildren, five step grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.
