He is survived by: his wife Susan Darley Slaughter; his sons, Brian Slaughter (Tara Horsley) and Jason Slaughter; his granddaughter Savannah Slaughter; and his brothers, Ronnie Slaughter (Cynthia), Larry Slaughter (Debra), Daryl Slaughter (Kellie) and Keith Slaughter (Rhoda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
