He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy N. "Dot" Chambers; his parent William Marion Chambers; and his siblings, Tillman Chambers, Orville Chambers, Erby Chambers, Annie Mae Reynolds, Clyde Chambers, Murle Nicholson and Raleigh Chambers.

He is survived by: his son Michael Chambers (Rosie); his granddaughters, Ana Carmen Chambers (Chelsey) and Sarah Camille LoPresti (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Ana Cecile LoPresti and Michael Clark LoPresti. He is also survived by nieces and nephews (and their children and grandchildren.
