He was predeceased by: his son James Harry Bryan IV; his sister Malaney Hahn; and his parents, James Harry and Kitty Bryan II. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bowman Bryan of Centre; his daughter Amanda Carter; and his stepdaughters, Kelly Ferguson (Corey) of Centre and Lauren Morgan (Evan) of Centre. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 2 step-grandsons, 1 step-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St Jude's Children's research Hospital.
