She was predeceased by: her husband William W. "Bill" Ward; her son Samuel C. Ward; and her parents, David Harper Coker and Effie Nazy Blackburn. She is survived by: her daughter Emily. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 step great grandchild, 1 great great grandchild; other relatives and friends.
