She was predeceased by: her siblings, Willie Joe Harkness, Roberta Lewis and Mary Louise Harkness; her grandson John E. Hithon III; her half-siblings, Isaac Harkness, Ben Harkness and Clara Jennings; and her parents, Chuck Ruben and Ida Pearl Harkness.

She is survived by: her daughter Denise Versaw of Huntsville; and her grandchildren, Stephanie M. Hithon of Chesterfield, MO and Briana Versaw of Huntsville.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Kingdom Hall or your favorite charity.
