He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vernon Johnson and Doris Juanita Grant Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Grindle Johnson; his daughters, Becky White (Bert) of Rockmart, Peggy Pimiento (Jean-Pierre) of Douglasville, GA and Debbie Sullivan (Donald) of Centre; and his siblings, Linda Whiten, Sheila Thompson, Butch English and Angie English. He is also survived by Eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
