He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Dowler and Julia Dowler of Tampa; his siblings, Larry Dowler and Jari Lee; and his grandson Collin Dowler.
He is survived by: his wife Gerry Martin Dowler; his children, David (Ann Dowler) and Dana (Wade McKenzie); and his grandchildren, Dillon Dowler, Maggie and Emma McKenzie.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in honor of Collin Dowlers' "Collin's Court" in Chattanooga, TN.
