He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Gentry; his son Ronnie Gentry; and his parents, Charles E. Gentry and Moudie Bing Gentry. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Gentry of Centre and Stacey Chesnut (Carey) of Sand Rock; his sister Becky Reeves Cedartown; and his grandchildren, John and Jacob Chesnut. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
