She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Kelley Giles and Leafy Hancock. She is survived by: her husband Michael Caywood Allen; her children, Nicholas K. Allen and Jody Allen Miller (Chris); her brother Ronald K. Giles (Gwen); and her grandchildren, Annabeth Miller and Michael Raymond Miller.

“Mike, we want to let you know how sorry we are that you and your children have lost Dianne. I hope and trust that she is at peace and that, in time, you will find some, too. I have always admired Dianne tremendously and hero-worshiped her. She was always lovely, poised, funny and wise.
