He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Henry Bell and Dorothy Janell Rainey Bell; his son David R. Bell Jr.; his brothers, Jimmy Bell and Joey Bell; and his son-in-law Jimmy Hales.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Lynn Hales of Calhoun; his grandchildren, Taylor Hales (Evelin) and Ana Grace Hales; and his siblings, Muriel Bell, Tina Bell and Robin Bell.
