It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cheryl Silk Melton of Centre, Alabama, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Randy Melton; her parents, Ralph E. Silk and Sylvia Westman Silk; her son Wesley A. Brown; her stepdaughter Ashley L. Melton; her siblings, George Silk, Robin Newell, Linda Schacht, Amy Mercuio, Gaye Chesser and Tara Spencer; and her grandson Maddox Brown.
Due to the current health concerns for the community, the family request that those in attendance keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the CDC as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
Family will accept flowers or donations can be made to Cherokee County Jail Ministry.
