He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Furr and Fannie Lou Ellis Furr; and his wife Sarah "Betty" Moss Furr. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Gail Wilkins (Ronnie) of Dallas, Donna Porter Lee of Powder Springs, Michael Furr of Acworth, Larry Furr (Beverly) of Powder Springs and Sheila Furr of Buford.
