She was predeceased by: her parents, George Akins and Jean Akins; and her siblings, George Robert Akins and Donna Hardin. She is survived by: her son Joseph Carney (Amy); and her grandchildren, Caden and Jace Carney. She is also survived by sister Betty Weeks; and several nieces and nephews.
