It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathy Hester of Centre, Alabama, born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Scott Hester; and her parents, Grady Semion and Mary Frances Whorton McElroy. She is survived by: her husband Larry Monroe Hester; her children, Lee Hester and Lisa Diane George (Jeremy); her siblings, Jeff McElroy (Melissa), Junior McElroy (Vicky), Steve McElroy (Lynn), Sandra McElroy and Brenda Westbrook (Timmy); her grandchildren, Tiffany, Cody George and Kianna Hester; her niece Pam Scott; and her close friend Lori Walker. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
