It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Joe Baker of Centre, Alabama, born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ray and Mary Baker. He is survived by: his wife Joan Baker; his sons, Stephen Baker and Mark Barker; his sister Patricia Lockridge (Jerry); his grandchildren, Shauna Carothers (Ben) and Haley Baker; and his great grandchildren, Clara Jane, Jack Wyatt and Joni Alice Carothers.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church or Cemetery Fund.
