She is survived by: her children, Joe Paul Higginbotham (Deanna), Dr. John C. Higginbotham (Kristi) and Joan Higginbotham Ingram (Russell); her grandchildren, Heather Bondy (Colin), Dr. Brian Ingram (Megan), Lauren Hardin (Jason), Stacey Johns (Michael), John Austin Higginbotham and Colin Higginbotham; and her great grandchildren, Ayda Johns and Colton Johns.
