He was predeceased by: his daughter Faith Arlene Barton; his adoptive son John Blackmon; and his parents, Otis Franklin Blackmon and Elizabeth Isabell Blackmon. He is survived by: his son William "Frank" Blackmon Jr. (Clare Blackmon); his sisters, Carolyn Strapple (Jim) and Sandy Burton (Rusty); his grandchildren, Carly Miata (Vincent), Lindsay Brayda (Stephen), Lacey Watson and Myranda Barton; and his friend Leslie Williams. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
